Well, who would have thought i would ever again touch some brushes and open some paint tubes and actually get physically creative in real life again, but thanks to Cindy, the "semi-Muse" (so to speak) who asked for it and made sure i had all the equipment i need it did happen.

Painting is done in Acrylics, i used my classical base, a piece of brown packaging paper to paint on as this sort of strong paper always seemed the ideal ground to hold especially acrylic paint, with the downside that the paper gets rather wavy due to the water contents in acrylics (which can easily be seen on these photos taken immediately after the painting was finished as well as during the creation of it

for everyone
Hola Senores,
not that i have learned any Spanish of late, but this greeting sounds so much nicer then the American Hi.

Anyway, just here for a quick bedtime story from the real life beach time i am having here:

Today a big braunish thing floating where i usually  go for my ocean water massage.
I went as close as i thought is safe but could not determine what it was, but was almost certain it was a living thing, about the size of a large stingray in diameter, but was floating right on the surface and had a bullseye right in the middle of it's body.
First i thought i leave it alone, but because it kept on floating around me and i got tired of watching out for it, especially against the sunlight, i decided to go on shore and grab that strange thing that has been laying around for weeks now, something that looked like a sail to a surf board or so, and went with it out there again to try and have a closer look while able to protect myself.
It turned out to be a huge jelly fish, never seen a bugger this big before and i was surely surprised to still one here as the water is relatively cool now, but maybe the nice warm sunshine brought this monster here.
So i decided it has to go as there where to many triathlets swimming around and a couple of daring kids took notice of it too.
Was rather difficult to get a grip on this huge thing with this to flexible sail, and it turned out to have really long tentacles as well, at least 2 meters some of them, so i had to be careful.
The first few tentacles started to come of the beast and i felt them stinging on my ankles, but eventually i got help from a North Carolina man with his  foot paadles, that was easier to move the jelly towards the shore.
Once we had it with the help of a couple of waves in the sand we couldn't move it far enough on shore so the waves couldn't flush it back into the ocean, but fortunately a woman had the right idea and brought one of the big trash bins over so we could finally capture the slimy creature in that bin.
The fellow from NC was himself absolutely sure that what we had taken out of humans harm was a Portugese Man of war!
